 Mike Herr was an outstanding all-around athlete for Falcon football and basketball squads. Mike's top performances came on the hard court during his senior season, where he helped lead the Falcons to their finest season in school history to that point. He was the leading scorer and rebounder for FHS' first district champions(regional runners-up) in 1961 at a time when there were only two divisions in Ohio. Fenwick also enjoyed their first conference championshp that year in the Southwest Ohio Conference. Mike was the only Falcon to be named to the first team all-league for basketball. |
