Tracy was a two sport student athlete at Fenwick, a starter all four years in both soccer and basketball. In soccer, she was an outstanding goal keeper, helping Fenwick to win three MML championships and advance to the semifinals in the 1985 District tournament(only one division for all schools). Fenwick had an overall record of 52-14-10 during her 4 years. Tracy was the first team All-League(MML) goal keeper all four years.
In basketball, Tracy was an outstanding overall player with great ball skills and scoring ability. She was MML Honorable Mention freshman year, followed by first team All-MML her next three years as well as MML Player of the Year in 1986. Tracy was also first team All-District for 3 years and was selected to the All-Ohio Class A team in 1987. In her career she scored 1,173 points, third highest in Fenwick girls' history. For her career she averaged 13.6 points per game, 7.5 rebounds, 3.4 steals and 3.0 assists.
Tracy received Fenwick's Outstanding Girl Athlete of the Year award her senior year and was active on the Yearbook staff and the school newspaper.
Upon graduation from Fenwick Tracy attended Eastern Michigan University from 1987-1988. She has been married to Fenwick graduate Craig(Pete) Esposito for 18 years. They have five children, sons Nick(17), Ben(15), Mitch(12), and daughters Maddie(10), and Rachel(6). She is involved in community activities, such as the Middletown Community Pregnancy Center, the Annual Turkey Fest for the benefit of local struggling families, and was co-organizer of the 2010 Lebanon Amateur Amazing Race Benefit for local pantries. |
