The Clark family is one of the few families who can say that three brothers all started as freshman thru senior years in multi sports and all were outstanding.
Dick was offensive guard and linebacker during his football years at Fenwick. He was without question the best linebacker that we ever had at Fenwick. He was tough, mean, and commanded the respect of his teammates and opposing players. Dick was the kind of person you just wanted to be around on and off the field. Hall of Famers Fred Nori, Tom Meehan, and Mike Scorti all hold Dick in high esteeem, as they played with him.
All the brothers made the southwestern Ohio league teams many times.
We are also thankful to the Clark family for introducing Jerry Harkrader to Father Krusling and bringing him to Fenwick. |
